(CEO and co-founder of Quanti and Vrgineers, Inc.)

Marek Polčák is a successful entrepreneur, co-founder of Quanti and Vrgineers, Inc experienced with leading international software & hardware projects in fields of exponential growth. With passion for new technologies and state of the art solutions, he constantly looks for complex challenges to be solved.

  • Marek Polčák completed his cybernetic engineering Master’s degree at Czech Technical University’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2011 with a focus on biomedical engineering.
  • At the same time, he received second Masters from the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies School of Business in industrial management.
  • During his final years at the university, Marek founded a university robotic team that designed and produced robot prototypes using the ROS operating system with custom chassis and algorithms.
  • In 2010 he co-founded software & hardware development house Quanti s.r.o. and acted as its director and project manager. Quanti developed tens of software and hardware products. Thanks to this experience, he learned how to plan, organize and oversee local application development, web development as well as hardware development.

FlyPrague gradually tried all the VR goggles available on the market and decided to use feedback from 35,998 people to begin developing its own equipment.
  • In 2017 Marek co-founded Vrgineers, Inc. to develop the most advanced virtual reality headset called XTAL. XTAL was designed based on the feedback from FlyPrague customers and thanks to its unique combination of high fidelity and wide field of view it was immediately adopted by aerospace experts for civilian and defense pilot training purposes.
